One of the characters (Bea) in Guilt is from La Orotava on Tenerife in Spain. Each year, they celebrate Corpus Christi and create (among other smaller artwork using flower petals) a large, work of art using sand. The intricacy is amazing. Here is a photo of the square and a link to a description of the holiday.

Here’s a video of some dogs in the window of a house on one of the streets we take William for a walk on.
This is William. As you probably gleaned from the title, this was on our walk today.
I have a feeling these drawings are not as easy to do as this video makes them seem. But, everything takes practice. Still, pretty amazing to see how these lines bring images to life!
I got to spend Thanksgiving with some of my favorite people (hopefully, so did everyone else). Thanks to Karen Silva, Eliane Quinn and Mondo for including me!
I’m back from vacation. I loved Granda. I’d never been to the south of Spain before this trip.. Two things I love (besides writing, of course) are travel and photography. Here’s a photo from our visit to Granada, Spain.
I’ll be out of town on vacation for the next couple of weeks, so there will likely be few updates (I know, this will not be a huge change to how things have been). I thought I’d post a photo I took of my brother, Michael. This is probably my favorite picture of him (at least that I took). We were in Canada, north of Vancouver.
I realize the image looks washed out, but (in my own defense) I took this photo when we were kids.
