I got to spend Thanksgiving with some of my favorite people (hopefully, so did everyone else). Thanks to Karen Silva, Eliane Quinn and Mondo for including me!

Granada, Spain

I’m back from vacation. I loved Granda. I’d never been to the south of Spain before this trip.. Two things I love (besides writing, of course) are travel and photography. Here’s a photo from our visit to Granada, Spain.

My Brother, Michael

I’ll be out of town on vacation for the next couple of weeks, so there will likely be few updates (I know, this will not be a huge change to how things have been). I thought I’d post a photo I took of my brother, Michael. This is probably my favorite picture of him (at least that I took). We were in Canada, north of Vancouver.

I realize the image looks washed out, but (in my own defense) I took this photo when we were kids.

I ran into a good friend of mine last night, whom I hadn’t seen in too long. She reminded me about her new project, Sonoran Sol, which creates film montages/interviews with local Phoenix creatives. To see some of the completed interviews and learn more about her and the project, visit (and like) her page here:

This photo is of William looking young and svelte from a few years ago. He’s a bit grayer around the snout now (the gray is just starting in this photo).

My dog, William, is hard to miss these days—he weighs about 150 lbs. He’s a Great Dane/Neapolitan Mastiff mix. This is a picture of him when he was smaller, at 9 weeks old.

The Elbow Reef Lighthouse is prominently featured in the storyline of Guilt. Here’s a photo of it.
